Texas AGA State Gymnastics Meet 2009
This was Christen's last meet for the Spring 2009. This is the Texas AGA (American Gymnastics Association) state meet and the last for the season and thus determines the girls final rankings for 2009 and where they will start in the Spring 2010 season. Christen has just moved up in rank from Junior Level 3 to Junior Level 5 in her previous meet in Corinth, Tx. So this is her first time to compete against the other Level 5 girls. You can see the ages and sizes of the girls she competed against at the end of the video where Christen gets her First Place medal for Junior Level 5 All-Around. Remember this meet took place May 16 and 17 before Christen's 7th birthday! And because of her performance at this meet she was moved up to Junior Level 9 which were she will start next year.
This video was taken by the mother of one of Christen's teammates, Alex, and therefore you see a lot her in the video. Be patient and you will see Christen's vault and high bars routines. I will add the videos that we took later.
